Sam was born and raised in Cumming Ga and has over 20 years of competitive swimming experience both as a swimmer and coach. He has coached at every level including international competitions. He began his club swimming career with Lanier Aquatics in Gainesville, GA and from there continued his athletic and academic career at Mars Hill University in Mars Hill, NC where he was a member of the men's swim team as a distance freestyler. He graduated from Mars Hill with a degree in Physical Education. He is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to Tallulah Falls.
